FARLEY, Iowa (May 20) – Friday night racing action at the Farley Speedway was headlined by the running of the Ideal Ready Mix Tri-Track Challenge featuring the Out Pace Racing Products IMCA Late Models in 50 laps of intense racing action.
When the final checkered of the action packed main event waved it was Joel Callahan pushing his recent win streak to three with the $2,000 victory. Callahan held off a late-race challenge by Ryan Dolan in scoring the win by a car length. Tyler Bruening crossed under the checkers in third.
Mark Schulte drove his GSI Collision Specialists IMCA Modified to the 20-lap feature win, getting to the finish line ahead of Jerry Luloff. Schulte used all the extra-wide, smooth racing surface in scoring the win.
Tyler Soppe came from deep in the field and took a very emotional GSI Collision Specialists win in the IMCA Northern SportMod main event. Soppe took the lead late from Austin Heacock en route to the win.
Tom Schmitt scored the 15 lap IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature win. Schmitt broke out of the lead pack in scoring a hard-fought win ahead of Norman Chesmore.
Quinton Miller padded his point lead with another IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock trophy. Miller outraced Brian Happel in getting to the finish line first.
