Three first-time winners at Hancock County

BRITT, Iowa (April 23) – Three different drivers found the winner’s circle for the first time this sea­son at Hancock County Speedway on Saturday, while two others won for the second time in four weeks of racing.

Cody Nielsen and Derek Green won for the second time in four weeks at Hancock County Speedway while Austin Wolf, Colby Fett and Brad Cagle found the winner’s circle for the first time in 2016 at Britt.

Wolf started on the pole in the Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified feature and held that spot to grab his the win ahead of Tad Reutzel.

Green came from the outside of row four to grab his second IMCA Sunoco Stock Car win at Britt this spring. David Wickman held on for second.

Fett started on the outside of the front row and never looked back once out front in the Karl Chevro­let Northern SportMod main event.

Nielsen started inside row five and piloted his number 29N IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock rig to the winner’s circle for the second time. Daniel Smith took the runner-up spot.

Cagle started on the outside of the front row before steering his car to the Mach-1 Sport Compact victory with Jay Devries placing second.
