COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. (Aug. 29) – Collen Winebarger was a double winner Saturday at Cottage Grove Speedway, following his Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified victory with a run to the Late Model checkers.
Kreg Britton led the first nine laps of the Modified go, surrendering the point the next time around to Winebarger.
Winebarger led the rest of the way, then hopped into his Late Model and drove to his second checkers of the evening.
Winebarger had pulled off a similar achievement not long ago in the same two classes at Willamette Speedway.
