BOONE, Iowa – An Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified driver is going to be $1,000 richer before the first green flag flies for the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.
The Saturday, Sept. 5 Prelude to the Super Nationals at Boone Speedway totes a $1,000 top prize for Modifieds. The winner also becomes vote eligible for the 2016 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot.
IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars run for $500 to win, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods for $400 and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $250.
There is no entry fee for drivers registered to compete in Super Nationals; drivers in all divisions must attempt to qualify to receive tow money.
No track points will be awarded as season championship night was Aug. 29 at Boone. All cars may compete.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and Allstar Performance Iowa State points will be awarded in all four divisions. Modifieds chase Belleville Motorsports North Central Region points. EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region points will be given in the Stocks, Big Daddy Race Cars Northern Region points in the Hobbies.
Pit gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 6 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:45 p.m. and racing starts at 7:30 p.m. Grandstand admission is $15; pit passes are $25.
