STUART, Iowa (Aug. 9) – He’s been to victory lane a lot of times since, but Jeff Anderson won his first IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock feature in 25 years Sunday at Stuart Speedway.

Anderson eased away from the pack and Austin Luellen made it to second as the white flag flew.

Matt Webb, Jeff James and finally Joshn Gilman ran at the front of the Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified pack. Nick Roberts made it close at the end but couldn’t catch Gilman and settled for second.

Marcus Fagan checked out on his IMCA Sunoco Stock Car foes. Kody Havens was the Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod winner and Jacob Reiter ran away from the rest of the Mach-1 Sport Compact field.

Next week will be the second annual Richard Welch “Bones” Memorial presented by Jorgensen Custom Hay Services. Northern SportMods will race for $1,000 to win.
