HARTFORD, S.D. (Aug. 8) – Nate Eakin was a powerhouse in the Coffee Cup IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car division Saturday at I-90 Speedway.
Eakin won his heat race going away and then led all 20 laps of the feature for his third local win of the season. Several slide jobs were happening behind him, however. Dusty Ballenger and Colin Smith exchanged sliders before Ballanger eventually suffered mechanical problems.
Ben Waxdahl then went back and forth with Smith and was able to finish ahead of the points leader by taking second.
