Rose tunes up for big shows with IMCA Modified win at Britt

BRITT, Iowa (Aug. 1) – Rob Rose tuned up for the upcoming specials at Hancock County Speedway by winning the Saturday feature for Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds.

Rose made his way to the front of the 19-car field from outside row two. Runner-up was Ben Kraus and 12th starting Hunter Marriott was third.

Calvin Lange earned his second local IMCA Sunoco Stock Car victory of the summer, followed by Kevin Opheim and Ned Kalis.

Hancock County win number five this season came for George Nordman in the Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods. Nick Meyer was second and Nate Whitehurst finished third.

Cody Nielsen topped the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock main in front of Cory Gansen and Chanse Hollatz.

Winner of the Mach-1 Sport Compact feature was Jesse Lunsford in his first trip to Britt.
