Smith wins fifth at I-90

HARTFORD, S.D, (Aug. 1) – Colin Smith added to his impressive streak of wins and runner-up finishes in I-90 Speedway’s Coffee Cup IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car division by driving to his fifth victory of the season Saturday.

Smith won handily as he led all 20 laps, finishing ahead of Ben Waxdahl and Dusty Bal­lenger.  Smith’s streak of top two finishes is now at seven.  That includes four wins over the last five nights of racing.

Smith credited his father for finding the right set up and said, “He told me to just go out there and race.”
