JEFFERSON, S.D. (July 26) – The KISS 107 FM IMCA Sport Compacts had a first-time winner Sunday at Raceway Park as Cody Boulware led flag to flag for his first trip to victory lane.
Chasing Boulware at the end were Aaron Edwardson and Cody Thompson.
John Cain took the win in the MOPAR IMCA Hobby Stock feature after getting by early leader David Miller for a lead he never relinquished. Finishing third was Aaron Shearn.
Rusty Montagne extended his point lead atop the Skyline Casino IMCA Northern SportMod division by taking the feature win over Karl Brewer and Darin Roepke.
The Casey’s General Store IMCA Stock Car field went at it for 16 laps with Chris Mills coming out on top, followed by Josh Ruschmann and Bo Lundquist.
The Total Motors Modified feature had $900 on the line for the winner in honor of long-time car owner and crew chief Marv Reuter, who passed away this week. Jason Schneiders led much of the early going, but had to settle for the runner-up spot when Jim Thies powered to the front in the late laps to take the victory.
Trailing Thies and Schneiders at the checkers were Sean Barragan and Ricky Stephan.
