JEFFERSON, S.D. (July 12) – Jim Thies got by early leader Jason Schneiders just past the midway point of the Total Motors IMCA Modified main event and held on for the Sunday victory at Raceway Park.

Schneiders finished second, followed by Chris Abelson.

The Casey’s General Store IMCA Stock Car feature again went to Chris Mills, his second win in only four starts. Second went to new point leader Bo Lundquist, followed by Casey Jones.

Karl Brewer had the field covered in the Skyline Casino IMCA Northern SportMods. Brewer led most of the feature and was followed across the line by Kaleb Kennedy and Darin Roepke. Kennedy’s finish put him into a tie for the division lead with Rusty Montange.

The MOPAR IMCA Hobby Stock feature had a controversial ending when race-long leader Gabe Barclay was hit in turn four by second place runner Aaron Shearn, flattening Barclay’s tire.

With Barclay making it to the pits, no caution was thrown and Shearn went on to the feature win over Dave Riley and Andy Hoffman.

Aaron Edwardson led the KISS 107 FM IMCA Sport Compacts flag to flag and held off a late charge from Luke Jackson and Drew Johnson to take the feature win.
