SEYMOUR, Wis. (July 12) – Benji LaCrosse captured his 100th career Budweiser IMCA Modified feature win on a history-making Sunday night at Seymour Speedway.

The win was also the 37th for LaCrosse at Seymour, third on the all time win list behind Brian Mullen with 60 and R.M. Van Pay with 54. Mullen and Van Pay are also members of the IMCA 100 win club as is Mike Wedelstadt, the Sunday runner-up to LaCrosse.

Jerry Wilinski had the lead after the opening lap followed by Trevor Spaulding, Konnor Wilinski, Wedelstadt, T.J. Smith and Eric Scribner.

LaCrosse entered the top five on lap three after starting 11th in the field.  LaCrosse could pick his line as he maneuvered through traffic and  finally took over the lead on lap 11.   Wedelstadt followed into second one lap later.

LaCrosse held his lead at a couple lengths for the remaining laps and Wedelstadt watched as the checkered dropped, giving LaCrosse the milestone victory.  Jerry Wilinski held third to the finish with Scribner making his way to fourth.

Travis Van Straten led from the fifth lap on in collecting his fifth local Coors Light IMCA Stock Car checkers of the season. Bruce Beland captured his first career Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod feature win.
