FRANCIS CREEK, Wis. (July 4) – Round two of 141 Speedway’s Gandrud Chevrolet Red, White and Blue Series paid $1,210 to Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified winner Josh Long.

Long led every time around the track to add $210 on lap money to his $1,000 share of the purse.

After starting outside row one, Long rode the top of the oval all the way around with Eric Scribner running second and trying to stay within striking distance. Shawn Kilgore made his way to third and used different lanes to move around Scribner.

A caution with five laps remaining gave Scribner and Kilgore one last chance at Long but he controlled the final laps in securing the win and a spot on the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot.

Kilgore, who’d won the first RW&B event of the season on May 2, made his way around Scribner for second on the restart and finished in the runner-up spot. Scribner ran third in front of Eric Mahlik and R.M. Van Pay.

Round three of Red, White and Blue is Aug. 8.

John Heinz paced the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature and Cody Schroeder cruised to the Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod checkers.

Brandon Kaye topped the Mach-1 Sport Compact main event.
