MASON CITY, Iowa (June 21) – Kelly Shryock won his third Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified feature of the year Sunday at I-35 Speedway.

Shryock slid past leader Rich Lewerke to take the lead and eventual victory. Lewerke finished second while last week’s winner Levi Nielsen placed third.

Jesse Brown did not have the fastest IMCA Sunoco Stock Car on the track but he was in the right place when it mattered most. Blake Cole and Travis Shipman both pulled into the infield with mechanical troubles, giving Brown the lead.

He had to hold off a late challenge from runner-up Kevin Opheim. Joe Willier took third.

George Nordman held off four-time feature winner Nick Meyer to grab his first Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod win of the summer at Mason City. Nate Chodur was third.

Andrew Borchardt was the winner of the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock feature. Point leader Scott Dobel placed second with third going to Cory Gansen.

Oliver Monson was the winner of the Mach-1 Sport Compact feature, holding off Jay DeVries and Kaytee DeVries.
