LEXINGTON, Neb. (June 21) – David Murray Jr. tamed his Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified foes in front of a capacity crowd Sunday at Dawson County Raceway.
Murray worked his way through the field and took charge on the final go around. Jay Steffens led the first 19 circuits before giving way to Murray, Colton Osborn and Anthony Roth.
Kyle Clough led the last two laps in winning the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature and Josh Leonard was promoted to the top spot when the apparent Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod winner was disqualified in post-race tech.
Jacob Olmstead raced from deep in the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock field and ran in front the last four laps.
