Hoefelman hoists hardware at Eagle

EAGLE, Neb. (June 20) – Eight-year veteran Jared Hoefelman won for the first time at Eagle Racewa­y Saturday night.

The Kaplan University IMCA Modified checkers came ahead of Justin Wulf, Shane Hiatt and Johnny Saathoff.

“This is such an exciting place to win!” Hoefelman exclaimed. “There is so much good equipment here, and such great racers”

Shayle Bade was a straightaway faster than her closest RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car challenger. The winged win was her first of the season at Eagle.

Benji Legg found the right setup and found himself in victory lane for the first time this season follow­ing the NAPA IMCA Northern SportMod feature.

Adam Armstrong started in the eighth row after winning his “B” feature, then outran the rest of the Valentino’s IMCA Hobby Stock field for the main event victory.

Kevin Fearing got the kinks worked out in his new car and won the Sam’s Club IMCA Sport Com­pact main event.
