JEFFERSON, S.D. (June 14) – After three straight rainouts, action returned to the high banks at Raceway Park Sunday night.

The Total Motors IMCA Modified feature got off to a wild start with a 10-car pile up in the third turn that brought an early halt to the action. When racing got back under way, Jim Thies roared to the win over point leader Bob Moore and defending champion Chris Abelson.

Ryan Harris got to the front early in the Casey’s General Store IMCA Stock Car feature and never looked back, taking the win over Chad Allen and Jason Ward.

Defending champion Andy Hoffman held off a hard-charging Jake McClure to score the win in the MOPAR IMCA Hobby Stocks. Dave Riley took the third spot.

Another defending champion took the win in the Skyline Casino IMCA Sport Mod main event. Todd Boulware shot to the front early and held off Kaleb Kennedy and Darin Roepke for the victory.

The top two point competitors in the KISS 107 FM IMCA Sport Compacts rose to the top. Division leader Drew Johnson came away with the win followed by second place point man Cody Thompson. Finishing third, with his best run of the year, was Corey Frye.
