SHAWANO, Wis. (June 6) – Travis Van Straten won his fourth straight IMCA Sunoco Stock Car main event at Shawano Speedway Saturday night.
Rookie Cody Gagnon, Luke Uttecht and Mike Schmidt each led single circuits before Van Straten took charge. Gary Kasperek and then Brandon Czarapata chased Van Straten from second but to no avail.
Eddie Muenster won for the second straight week in the Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds, remaining unchallenged following a lap 10 restart for debris.
Second went to Jerry Wilinski and John Berna was third.
Lucas Lamberies led every lap of the Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod feature to pick up his first Shawano win of the season. Jordan Bart prevailed over Jason Jach in the battle for second.
