HARTFORD, S.D. (May 30) – Seven of the season-high 12 Coffee Cup IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars at I-90 Speedway came from Nebraska Saturday in a “Cornhusker Invasion.”

Papillion, Neb., driver Clint Benson led the last 18 laps of the 20 lap feature for his first-ever I-90 Speedway win.

The defending national champion took the lead away from Lincoln, Neb.’s Jeff Edginton early on. However, Edgington worked his way back to challenge Benson on a perfect dryslick track.

Edgington and Adam Gullion, also from Lincoln, crossed right behind Benson for second and third.  Benson started fifth.  Gullion was the race’s hard charger as he came from 11th to third.
