MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa (May 29) – When the dust settled Friday night at Marshalltown Speedway, David Brandies was among the four drivers with IMCA feature wins.
Brandies wrestled the lead away in the MIller Lite IMCA Stock Car feature from Nick Thelen. Thelen got sideways in turn three, leaving Tyler Pickett and Steve Meyer with nowhere to go.
Brandies pulled away while behind him the battle for second featured Jeff Wollam, Donavon Smith, Matt Deaton, Michael Jaennette and Trent Murphy.
Murphy got the best of that battle ahead of Smith.
Jake Strayer paced the Coors Light IMCA Modified main. Austin Luellen scored his fifth local Toby K’s Hideaway IMCA Hobby Stock victory. Clint Luellen was the Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod winner following a duel with Sam Sieben.
