LEXINGTON, Neb. (May 3) – Gibbon hotshoe Chad Dolan wasted no time in getting to the front and running away with the victory in Sunday’s Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod feature at Dawson County Raceway.
Dolan led every lap and had big leads that were extinguished by yellow flags that allowed runner-up finisher Josh Leonard to threaten Dolan on late re-starts until the race reached the time limit.
Mike Densberger led start to finish in the IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified headliner. Colton Osborn raced from deep in the pack to second.
Another epic duel unfolded in the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car main event as Mike Nichols caught and then held off Casey Woken in the race to the checkers.
Kyle Bond took over the front spot before midway in the 15-lapper for IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks. Second went to Caleb Hetrick.
