ANTIOCH, Calif. (April 25) – National points leader Fred Ryland posted his 12th Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod win of the season Saturday at Antioch Speedway.
Ryland passed his wife Patti, and Chuck Golden after a seventh lap restart. Golden maintained second as Paul Mulder worked his way up to third before the finish.
Patti Ryland and Al Sotomayor comprised the rest of top five.
“The engine was just not running right in the heat race,” Ryland said in victory lane. “Our crew got the problem fixed just in time for the feature.”
