QUINCY, Ill. (April 26) – Abe Huls, Joey Gower and Kimberly Abbott all took feature event wins at Quincy Raceway during the second night of the 2015 race season on Sunday.
Huls held off several challengers to take the feature win in the Powder Coat Plus IMCA Stock Car main event. Jake Powers settled for second followed by Jerry Jansen.
Nineteen Summy Tire and Auto Center IMCA Northern SportMods signed in to do battle with Gower coming from his third row starting spot to take the checkers. Gower held back Tony Dunker in second and Bobby Anders in third.
Abbott charged to the front of the Mach-1 Sport Compact main event from her fourth row starting spot in just five laps and pulled away for the feature win over Sieth Woodruff in second and Brandon Lambert in third.
