Porter dominates Southern Iowa Chassis Hobby Stock Special

OSKALOOSA, Iowa (April 22) – Dale Porter dominated Wednesday night’s headline event at Southern Iowa Speedway, the 20-lap Pepsi Cola IMCA Hobby Stock special presented by Southern Iowa Chassis.

Porter grabbed the lead on lap one, just before the caution came out for several cars that got together in turn three. Porter did not let that get to him even though he had Nick Ulin and Dustin Griffiths right behind.

Porter pulled away to win by a full straightaway over Ulin, who edged out Griffiths for second.

Todd Shute was the Musco Lighting IMCA Modified main event winner. Damon Murty took the Budweiser IMCA Stock Car win despite a late race charge from Mike Hughes.

Curtis VanDerWal was first to the KBOE Radio IMCA Northern SportMod checkers and Trent Orwig held off John Whalen to win the Mach-1 Sport Compact feature.

Ronnie Choate Sweeps Thursday Night Action At Hendry County

By Ben Deatherage CLEWISTON, Fla. (Feb. 6, 2025) — Ronnie Choate took home all the hardware on the opening night of the 6th Annual Sugar Bowl at Hendry County Motorsports Park. While all 44 Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lites had the opportunity to practice and dial their cars in, a select group of drivers participated in the prestigious Race of Champions and Manufacturers Dash—both of which were won by the Cookeville, Tennessee native. The Race of Champions kicked off with reigning Benton Speedway titleholder John Leahy seizing the early lead. However, Choate quickly closed the gap, and on lap three, he motored around the Missourian to take command. Once out front, Choate was untouchable. Babbit Redeems Himself With Ocala Mod Lite Victory

(Feb. 5, 2025) — Corey Babbit got his shot at redemption in race three of the 2025 Florida Winter Nationals at Ocala Speedway, claiming victory in the Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lite main event. After being overtaken late in lapped traffic the night before, the New Caney, Texas polesitter dominated the 25-lap finale to secure his first win of the season. The event drew an impressive 42 entries from across the United States, as well as the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec. Clem Makes Late Move to Win Ocala Speedway Mod Lite Thriller

By Ben Deatherage Ocala, Florida (February 4, 2025) — Bakersfield, California transplant Riley Clem brought the crowd to its feet with a thrilling late-race pass to win the Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lite $1,000-to-win feature at Ocala Speedway. The event, part of the second leg of the 2025 Florida Winter Nationals, drew an impressive field of 48 cars from across the United States and the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec. Texas racer Corey Babbit jumped out to the early lead from the pole position, setting a quick pace before a lap-one caution halted his momentum. On the restart, Clem wasted no time charging into second, and the two frontrunners began to distance themselves from the rest of the field.
