Murray County, Arlington dates are next for Redline Racing Parts North Star Series

SLAYTON, Minn. – Dates at Murray County Speedway in Slayton and Arlington Raceway this weekend make up the only doubleheader of the season for the Redline Racing Parts North Star Series.

Murray County hosts touring IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Mach-1 Sport Compacts on Friday, Aug. 8.

The same five divisions are in action on Saturday, Aug. 9 at Arlington.

Pit gates open at 5 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. at Slayton. Racing follows 7:15 p.m. hot laps. Grandstand admission is $11 for adults, $6 for students ages 11-15 and free for 10 and under.

IMCA Eagle Motorsports RaceSaver Sprint Cars are also on the card at Arlington. The pits open at 3 p.m. and hot lap are at 4:30 p.m. Hot laps begin at 6 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m.

Spectator admission is $12 for adults and $5 for kids.

Pit passes are $25 both nights.

Series standings are based on drivers’ best eight of 10 finishes. The tour concludes with dates at Arlington on Sept. 13 and at Jackson Speedway on Sept. 27.
