JACKSON, Minn. (April 23) – Opening night of the third annual Redline Racing Parts North Star Series takes five IMCA divisions to Jackson Speedway this Saturday night.
The April 26 lidlifter sees IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Mach-1 Sport Compacts in action.
Modifieds race for $800 to win and a minimum of $100 to start, Stocks for $600 to win and a minimum of $75 to start, SportMods for $500 to win and a minimum of $50 to start, Hobbies for $400 to win and a minimum of $50 to start, and Sport Compacts $200 to win and a minimum of $30 to start.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional, Allstar Performance State, special series and local track points will be awarded.
The pit gate opens at 3 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 4:30 p.m. Hot laps are at 6 p.m. with racing to follow.
Spectator admission is $15 for adults, $12 for students ages 13-17 and free for kids 12 and under. Pit passes are $30.
