Mallicoat speeds to topless win at Interstate

(Sept. 22, 2024) – The topless Friesen Performance IMCA Modified finale was a thrilling spectacle Sunday at Interstate Speedway, culminating in an exciting green, white, checkered finish. Izac Mallicoat’s daring fighter pilot moves from the top shelf to secure the lead and the win added an extra dose of excitement to the race. The race kicked off with Bob Fleshman taking an early lead, only to be overtaken by Jason Schneiders on the next lap. As Schneiders battled to maintain his lead against Jace Whitt, Chris Abelson entered the fray, intensifying the competition. Abelson’s incredible double overtake pass in turn three was a display of skill and strategy. It was a moment that left the audience in awe of his racing prowess. IMCA Hobby Stocks headline Dave Riley Memorial at Interstate

JEFFERSON, S.D. (July 16, 2024) – IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks are the spotlight division in Sunday night’s Dave Riley Memorial at Interstate Speedway. The July 21 main event pays at least $2,556 to win and a minimum of $156 to start with contingency awards to be given throughout the field. There is no entry fee. The Hobby Stock hard charger earns a $256 product certificate from Interstate Powder Coating and a 3D printed model race car courtesy of VT’s 3D Prints; the long haul driver gets $256 from J & J Fitting. Arizona transplants Chase, Shelby Alves take charge at South Dakota’s Interstate Speedway 

JEFFERSON, S.D. (Jan. 16, 2023) – Chase and Shelby Alves originally relocated to South Dakota for new race opportunities of their own.  Now they’ll be helping provide those opportunities for other drivers.  The Arizona transplants are new co-promoters at Interstate Speedway in Jefferson, where Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods and Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts return to Sunday night programs. “We moved here to be closer to all the racing in the Midwest.
