Leach scores electrifying win at Great Falls

By Ben Deatherage GREAT FALLS, Mont. (May 11, 2024) – Electric City Speedway was back to it on Saturday, May 11. The Great Falls 3/8-mile hosted the Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds for their third race of the 2024 campaign. Sun River teenager Tyler Leach seized the lead in a battle with Taylor Johnson right from the start. The race was a nail-biter, with Devon Jadwin and John Price dueling for second place while both tried to catch up with Leach. As the green flag run developed, the contest for second became a three-car affair. Cody Kuglin came to call, taking over just before the third caution flag of the race waved. IMCA Modifieds provide on-track fireworks at Electric City’s Fastest in the Falls shows

GREAT FALLS, Mont. (June 20, 2023) – The best fireworks around will follow Electric City Speedway’s third annual Fastest in the Falls special. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds run for $2,000 to win and Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4 at Great Falls. Additional purse money has been added for second through fifth place finishers and a minimum of $100 will be paid to start each night. All registration for the draw/redraw show is online at MyRacePass. Entry fee is $50 a night and pit passes are $30. Passing points will be awarded for heats. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Shaw Race Cars Western Region, Montana State and track points will be given each night. April 27, 28 Spring Roundup starts season at Electric City

GREAT FALLS, Mont. – A pair of $500 to win IMCA Modified features are on season-opening Spring Roundup programs Friday and Saturday, April 27 and 28 at Electric City Speedway. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Larry Shaw Race Cars Western Region, Montana State and track points will be awarded both nights. Pit gates at Great Falls are open all day; the grandstand opens at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 7:30 p.m. both evenings. There is no entry fee and pit passes are $30. Spectator admission is $11 for adults, $8 for seniors 65 and over and students ages 12-17, and free for 11 and under. Adult tickets are $9 when purchased online. Bosma Makes Last-Lap Pass for Huset’s RaceSaver Victory

By Inside Line Promotions BRANDON, S.D. (July 12, 2026) — Brandon Bosma executed a dramatic last-lap pass on Lee Goos Jr. to capture the 20-lap RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car feature at Huset’s Speedway. Goos Jr. paced the opening 19 laps, but three cautions throughout the race largely kept the leader out of lapped traffic. Bosma stalked the Sioux Falls driver through the second half of the feature before using the high side to surge alongside exiting the final corners, edging Goos Jr. by just 0.081 seconds at the checkered flag. The Rock Rapids, Iowa, driver earned his fourth victory of the season and first at Huset’s Speedway in 2026. The triumph also marked the ninth of his career at the historic 3/8-mile oval. Weepie Wins Thriller in Hobby Stocks at Benton County

By Christine Rublack VINTON, Iowa (July 12, 2026) — Dalton Weepie topped the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks in the closest finish of the night Sunday at Benton County Speedway. Jake Kaiser and Tucker Richardson battled for the lead early before Weepie worked his way into second. Leah Wroten moved into third as Richardson and Weepie began challenging one another for the top spot. A late-race caution put Richardson and Wroten right on Weepie’s bumper. On the restart, Richardson stayed glued to Weepie while Wroten, Joren Fisher, and Kaiser battled for third. Weepie held off Richardson by just 0.008 seconds at the stripe to earn his fifth B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region victory of the season and second at Benton County Speedway. Harr Goes Wire-to-Wire as Boone Speedway Salutes Hall of Fame Weekend

Harr jumped to the lead from the pole and never looked back in the 20-lap Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature, putting together a flawless drive from start to finish.
