IMCA Mod Lite wins in homebuilt chassis are adding up for Kansas City star Raffurty

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Winning races, says Dillon Raffurty, is always fun. Winning them in a car you helped build is even better. From Kansas City, Mo., the national STARS Mod Lite point leader already owns 22 feature victories so far this season. Priceless championships, big checks earned at IMCA Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa – Championships won at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s are priceless. The checks that come with those titles will be almost as good. More than $300,000 will be paid out to competitors at the 39th annual Super Nationals with another $60,000-plus in contingencies awarded to Modified, Late Model, Stock Car, Northern SportMod, STARS Mod Lite, Hobby Stock and Sport Compact drivers. As of 1 p.m. Friday, drivers from 25 states and Canada have confirmed that they’ll be part of the premier dirt track racing event on the planet.
