Great forecasts for weather, record-setting racing during week of IMCA Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa – The weather forecast for the week? Perfect.

The forecast for great racing during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s ? Even better, as a record 924 pre-entries are now in hand from 27 states and Canada

Plenty of sun, temperatures in the low 80s during the day and high 50s overnight are in the forecast for both days of the Sept. 4-5 Prelude as well as the entire week of Super Nationals Sept. 6-11 at Boone Speedway.

Pre-entries for America’s Racin’ Vacation now include 235 Modifieds, 221 Stock Cars, 182 Northern SportMods, 139 Hobby Stocks, 82 Sport Compacts and 53 STARS Mod Lites. Late Models are not required to pre-register as part of the former Deery Brothers Summer Series structure. 

Those cars make the trek to Boone from Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wisconsin, as well as the Canadian province of British Columbia.

Twenty-two states and B.C. are represented by the Modified entries.

Stock Cars come from 20 states, Northern SportMods from 15, Hobby Stocks from 13 and Sport Compacts from 11. 

STARS Mod Lites make their debut during the Prelude with entries from eight states.
