Clement capitalizes in IMCA All Star Shootout opener

ARDMORE, Okla. (May 24, 2023) – He bided his time and then Mitchell Clement banked $1,000. Clement won Wednesday’s All Star Shootout opening night feature for Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds at Southern Oklahoma Speedway, capitalize on race-long leader Troy Morris III’s bobble following a restart with nine laps to go. “I had a really good car,” Clement said after starting ninth and working his way into the top three midway through the 25-lapper at Ardmore. “I knew I just had to be patient.” Morris, from Bakersfield, Calif., and the current Junior National Champion points leader, drew the pole start and kept William Gould and then Josh McGaha at bay before back-to-back yellows on lap 17. Registration opens today for All Star Shootout fueled by IMCA.TV

ARDMORE, Okla. (April 25, 2023) – Three IMCA divisions take to the track on five consecutive nights in the upcoming All Star Shootout fueled by IMCA.TV. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds race for $1,000 to win, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Smiley’s Racing Products IMCA Southern SportMods both for $750 to win beginning Wednesday, May 24 at Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore. The third annual tour then travels to Texas, for shows on Thursday, May 25 at Grayson County Speedway in Bells; Friday, May 26 at Boyd Raceway; Saturday, May 27 at Kennedale Speedway Park; and Sunday, May 28 at Heart O’ Texas Speedway in Waco. Bonus money is at stake for Modified drivers winning multiple features during the week: $500 for two wins, $750 for three wins, $1,000 for four wins and $2,000 if they can sweep the tour. Midwest Madness Tour Returns for 8th Annual Run Through the Heartland from June 28-July 2

(May 14, 2026) — The Midwest Madness Tour is set to thunder back into action for its eighth annual edition, bringing five straight nights of Speedway Motors IMCA Weekly Racing competition to tracks across Minnesota, Iowa, and South Dakota from June 28 through July 2. The tour opens Sunday, June 28 at Worthington Speedway in Worthington, Minnesota before heading to Clay County Fair Speedway in Spencer, Iowa on Monday, June 29. All-Star Shootout Ready to Fire Off May 21-24 Across Texas and Oklahoma

By Ben Deatherage VINTON, Iowa (May 14, 2026) — The All-Star Shootout is just a week away from roaring back to life, as four straight nights of Speedway Motors IMCA Weekly Racing action are set for May 21-24 across Texas and Oklahoma with increased payouts, new race procedures, and a packed lineup of contingency awards. Karl Kustoms IMCA Modifieds, Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars, and Smiley’s Racing Products IMCA Southern SportMods will again headline the tour. Modifieds will race for $1,250 to win and $125 to start each night, while Stock Cars and Southern SportMods compete for $1,000 to win and $100 to start. Biggs Survives Wild Southern Oregon SportMod Main for $1,000 Victory

(May 9, 2026) — In front of a standing-room-only crowd, Cory Biggs overcame adversity before and during Saturday night’s Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMod feature at Southern Oregon Speedway, charging from 10th to win the $1,000-to-win main event. Because of the massive standing room only turnout, Southern Oregon Speedway officials boosted the purses for both the IMCA SportMods and Karl Kustoms IMCA Modifieds. After getting his car destroyed the previous week, the Yreka, California driver climbed behind the wheel of Ethan Killingsworth’s No. 7M machine and spent the entire week helping prepare the car for competition. Isaac Sanders led the opening two laps before Jorddon Braaten took command on lap three.
