Danley Dodges Late-Race Chaos for Eagle Raceway Sprint Car Win

(May 17, 2025) — Eagle Raceway fans were treated to a rare three-wide start for RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Cars on Saturday night, an occurrence typically reserved for the annual IMCA RaceSaver Nationals held every Labor Day weekend. Billy Alley started on the outside of row one and immediately took control, leading the opening lap of the 30-lap feature with Tyler Drueke and Joey Danley in tow. John Klabunde jumped to third on lap three and then passed Drueke for second two laps later. Klabunde patiently followed Alley until lap 18, when he seized the lead — only to get caught behind a lapped car, allowing Alley to reclaim the top spot. Richards Scores $1,000 Stock Car Win At Maquoketa

By Jerry Mackey MAQUOKETA, Iowa (May 17, 2025) — The headliner of the night’s action at Maquoketa Speedway was the 20-lap Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature, a qualifier for the B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Stock Car Invitational. Thanks to Colton and Danielle Dirks, the Stock Cars raced for a $1,000 top prize, attracting 29 entries that included some of the best in the business. The feature took the green with Montello, Wisconsin’s Kenny Richards establishing himself early as the man to beat. Richards made the three-and-a-half-hour haul to Maquoketa pay off in a big way, pocketing the $1,000 payday. He was challenged early by Kaden Reynolds before Indiana’s Sheldon Oberle took over second and began closing in. Ford Credited with SportMod Win at Marysville

(May 17, 2025) — Jimmy Ford crossed the finish line in second place in the 20-lap Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMod feature at Marysville Raceway; however, after post-race inspection found Tyler Rodgers’ car in violation of deck height, Ford was declared the winner. It marked Ford’s third win of the season and first at Marysville in 2025. Rodgers dominated the race after taking the lead on lap four and building a substantial advantage before a series of cautions bunched up the field. A final yellow with just a few laps remaining erased Rodgers’ lead and set up a dramatic finish. As a result of the penalty, Ford, the 2022 track champion, claimed the top spot. Dakota Classic Mod Tour Set to Bring Six Nights of Intense Racing Action to the Northern Plains

The tour kicks off at J-Town on Saturday, July 5 at Jamestown Speedway, where fans will get their first look at this year’s competitors. From there, the tour heads to the Playground of Power at Nodak Speedway in Minot on Sunday, where the stakes intensify on the fast 3/8-mile oval. Schnitzer Outlasts Moore for Thrilling Elma Modified Win

By Shaun Hulburt ELMA, Wash. (May 17, 2025) — Brenton Schnitzer powered through a wild finish to capture the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature at Grays Harbor Raceway. Kyler Moore jumped to the early lead from the front row and held command for the first five circuits until 2021 track champion Scott Miller edged past him on lap six. Moore battled back to reclaim the top spot a lap later and maintained control until lap 23. That’s when Schnitzer, the fastest car on the track after starting tenth, made his move. The Shelton driver worked the middle groove to take the lead from Moore, but his charge nearly unraveled in the final two corners when he ran out of tear-offs and struggled to see through lapped traffic. Dierks Dominates Davenport for $1,000 Payday

Brad Dierks capitalized on his pole position, leading all twenty laps to capture the flag-to-flag victory and secure his All-Star eligibility to try and qualify for the race at the 2025 Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. Preston McDonald emerged victorious in a dramatic three-car battle off turn four, narrowly edging out Austin Stalder and Kyler Burmeister by less than a fender. McDonald’s win, his second consecutive B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region victory, came after a hard-fought 15-lap main event that saw the trio swapping positions multiple times in the closing circuits. Pettit Prevails in Ocean Modified Feature

(May 16, 2025) — Hall of Famer Jim Pettit II from Prunedale captured his first Ocean Speedway Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature win of the 2025 season in the Shaw Race Cars Western Region, taking the checkers in a 25-lap main event. Jonathan Hagio jumped out to the early lead from the pole, while Pettit engaged in a spirited battle for second with Nevada Lady Eagle racer Katelynn Robertson. Pettit powered past Hagio in turn four to take the lead on lap 13. A few laps later, Hagio’s car erupted in smoke, ending his race on lap 17 and bringing out a caution. On the restart, Pettit’s machine also began to smoke, but he held strong to capture the win, with Robertson finishing second and Cody Burke third.
