(June 13, 2026) — Two-time IMCA Wild West Speedweek champion Collen Winebarger used a late restart to capture the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature and open the 2026 tour at Sunset Speedway Park with his 14th career series victory. Jeff Lovell led the opening lap and quickly established a comfortable advantage. The leader encountered lapped traffic on lap eight but continued to maintain a strong pace as the race remained under green. A caution on lap 15 brought the field back together and allowed Winebarger, aboard the John Gaynor-owned No. 99X, to begin mounting a serious challenge. Maynard Collects First Career NY-Penn Series Victory

(June 12, 2026) — Jake Maynard raced from seventh on the starting grid to capture his first career Close Racing Supply NY-Penn IMCA Modified Series feature victory Friday night at The Hill Speedway. Mike Wilcox and Shawn Bruce led the field to green for the 25-lap feature. As the race unfolded, Maynard steadily worked his way through the field and into contention. The Wyalusing driver eventually took command and proved to be the class of the field over the closing stages, securing his first career NY-Penn Series triumph. The victory was Maynard’s third of the season in Close Racing Supply Eastern Region competition. (June 12, 2026) — The Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified main event at Watsonville Speedway saw multiple different leaders while putting on a solid show in its shortened 20-lap feature. Jonathan Hagio took the early command, but it was short-lived as Robert Marsh blasted to the point on lap four. A lengthy red flag period to clean up a crash in turn two forced officials to trim the race from 25 laps to 20 with curfew looming. Jim Pettit II looked extremely fast and took over the lead on lap nine. Starting eighth, however, “Quick Nick” DeCarlo methodically worked his way forward before assuming command with 14 laps complete.
