100-plus IMCA state champions earn KMJ Performance awards

STORY CITY, Iowa – The accomplishments of more than 100 IMCA drivers from coast to coast and border to border will be recognized again in 2021 by KMJ Performance. The Story City, Iowa-based chassis and high performance parts manufacturer and distributor returns for a second season as title sponsor of IMCA’s popular state championship program. Canyon primes for IMCA Winter Series Challenge dates

PEORIA, Ariz. – Four IMCA divisions will be featured each night of the Winter Series Challenge at Canyon Speedway AZ. IMCA Modifieds are in the running for $1,000 to win and a minimum of $100 to start in their Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying events Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 30 and 31 and Feb. 6 and 7. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods both race for $800 to win, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $500 to win each day. Rich EngineQuest support continues for IMCA Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, SportMods

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – EngineQuest continues its support of drivers in four IMCA divisions in 2021, renewing a rich program of cash, product and product certificate awards. IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMod drivers all receive post-season awards from the Las Vegas, Nev., cylinder head and engine component manufacturer. In its title sponsorship role with the sanctioning body, EQ provides a portion of $3,750 point funds in both Northern and Southern Stock Car regions for a seventh consecutive season. Spring Break special canceled

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions by the State of Nevada, the Duel in the Desert Spring Break set for Feb. 10-13 has been canceled and will not be run. The restrictions, imposed shortly after the November 2020 Duel in the Desert, limit crowd gatherings and have recently been extended to Feb. 15, 2021. Every effort was exhausted for event approval that was unfortunately not granted. All online sales will be automatically refunded.

IMCA Modifieds, STARS Mod Lites are new jewels at Diamond Park Speedway

NASHVILLE, Ark. – Saturday night race programs at Arkansas’ Diamond Park Speedway will feature both IMCA Modified and STARS Mod Lite divisions this season. Opening night at the 1/3 mile red clay oval, located on Highway 27 South between Nashville and Murfreesboro, is March 20. Shaw Race Cars marks decade of title sponsorship in IMCA’s Western Region

BATESVILLE, Ark. – Shaw Race Cars marks a decade of title sponsorship support for Modified drivers competing in IMCA’s Western Region. The Batesville, Ark., chassis builder provides a portion of the point fund to be paid to top 10 drivers in regional point standings again this season. Shaw was purchased by Scott and Marlene Mosley in July of 2019, with veteran Jeff Taylor brought in to provide his considerable technical expertise.
