Rich EngineQuest support continues for IMCA Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, SportMods

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – EngineQuest continues its support of drivers in four IMCA divisions in 2021, renewing a rich program of cash, product and product certificate awards.

IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMod drivers all receive post-season awards from the Las Vegas, Nev., cylinder head and engine component manufacturer.

In its title sponsorship role with the sanctioning body, EQ provides a portion of $3,750 point funds in both Northern and Southern Stock Car regions for a seventh consecutive season.

EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region tracks are located in eastern Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oregon, Saskatchewan, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Wyoming. EQ Cylinder Heads Southern Region tracks are in Arizona, Arkansas, California, western Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Utah.

Both EQ regions grew with new sanctions in Arkansas and Idaho in 2020. All drivers are again required to display two EngineQuest logos on their race car to be eligible for regional point fund shares. The national Stock Car champion and highest eligible finishing Hobby Stock, Northern SportMod and Southern SportMod drivers receive EQ cylinder heads sets, as do the highest finishing Mopar engine drivers in the same divisions.

Fifty dollar product certificates go to each eligible built engine-powered Stock Car, Hobby Stock and SportMod driver who wins a track championship. Stock, Hobby and SportMod drivers winning multiple track titles with a built engine under the hood all earn $200 cash bonuses.

Those awards will be presented during the national banquet in November or mailed from the IMCA home office beginning the week after.

Awards given at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s include cylinder head sets to the Stock Car champion; the Stock Car, Hobby Stock and Northern SportMod champion if competing with a Mopar engine; and the highest claim engine finisher in Hobby Stock and Northern SportMod main events.

2021 marks EQ’s 16th season of sponsorship and covers the second year in the most recent agreement with IMCA. Information about EQ cylinder heads, crankshafts and internal engine parts is available at the www.enginequest.com website or by calling 702 649-7776 or 800 426-8771.
