Munoz Holds On in Stock Car Thriller at Colby

(July 25, 2025) — The “Class Too Tough To Tame” ended the evening at Thomas County Speedway, as the Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars brought twenty-three of the top Midwest drivers to Colby. The twenty-lap main event featured a front row of Wheat Lippelman and Troy Burkhart, as Troy fired off with the early race lead, but quickly Kyle Pfeifer and Angel Munoz stormed the castle. Troy led until lap five where a caution saved him as Angel Munoz had made a bid for the lead. Troy restarted the field after Tyler Tipton brought out the caution and continued to lead until lap twelve when Angel Munoz got by to take his first official lead of the race. Robby Sawyer Takes Modified Victory at Bakersfield Speedway

(July 26, 2025) — Robby Sawyer won his third Friesen Pefromance IMCA Modified feature of 2025 at the new Bakersfield Speedway at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway, persevering over an opening lap melee to win the 30-lap main event. Michael Scruggs jumped ahead of the 14-car field at the start of the feature. Scruggs then abruptly slowed and spun in turn four, gobbling up multiple cars for a large crash. Sawyer was able to drive through the carnage but clipped Scruggs for right side damage. Ricky Childress, Jr., Brad Watkins, and Bryan Clark were among the drivers unable to continue. Sawyer drove around Austin Kiefer on the restart to take control of the 30-lap contest, then pulled away for a commanding win — his third of the year in the Shaw Race Cars Western Region. Richards Charges from 12th to Eagle Raceway Hobby Stock Victory

By Greg Soukup EAGLE, Neb. (July 26, 2025) — Tanner Dowty led the early charge in the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock feature, with Nick Jensen, Brad Burhenne, and Matt Rotschafer battling behind. Burhenne moved into second on lap three, while Eric Chab and Dillon Richards methodically advanced through the pack. A caution involving Rotschafer and Ben Becher tightened the field on lap six, and on the restart Richards blasted to the lead. Burhenne faded as Brayden Hurley climbed to third, then second. Hurley passed Chab for the runner-up spot on the final lap, but Richards was long gone. With the win, Richards upped his 2025 total to 11 victories in 12 starts at Eagle and now boasts 36 wins in the division in 2025—28 in the B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region. Trenchard Scores First Win of 2025 in Douglas County Modified Main

(July 25, 2025) — Nick Trenchard turned in a dominating performance to capture his first Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature win of the season at Douglas County Dirtrack — and he did it in classic fashion. The Klamath Falls veteran drove the Biehn Racing no. 54N to the checkered flag and earned his first win of 2025 in the Shaw Race Cars Western Region. In the 25-lap main event, Bennett Bray paced the field on the opening lap until a caution for debris slowed the field. That allowed Trenchard, who started third, to seize the opportunity. On the restart, he threw a big slider into the first set of turns and took control on lap two. Trenchard quickly checked out and was well ahead of the field when a stoppage on lap 16 slowed the action — the only other interruption of the race. Serbus Scores Sprint Car Win No. 6 of 2025 With Dominant Jackson Motorplex Performance

(July 25, 2025) — Trevor Serbus led the distance of the 20-lap RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car main event at Jackson Motorplex for his first victory at the track since 2022 and his sixth overall this year at three different facilities. Following a caution on the start of the feature, the race ran non-stop until Lap 18 when second-running Lee Goos Jr. collided with a lapped car entering turn one. Roedl Outguns “The Hitman” for First Win of 2025

Roedl opened up a lead on the field and looked set to grab an easy checkered flag, but “The Hitman” Johnny Whitman had something else in mind. Whitman, the current point leader and defending division champ, started his march to the front by sliding inside Jayden Schmidt on lap seven to move up to fourth. A lap later, Whitman picked off Tanner Janke for third. By lap 11, Whitman snuck past Konnor Wilinski to take second.
