Scott Cook Memorial One-Eye Nationals SportMod Special Set for June 11 at Kossuth County Speedway

ALGONA, Iowa (June 9, 2026) — Kossuth County Speedway will honor the memory of Scott Cook with the Scott Cook Memorial One-Eye Nationals SportMod Special on Thursday, June 11.

The Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMods will headline the evening with a lucrative $1,000-to-win feature. An additional $100 bonus will be awarded to the winner if 24 SportMods are entered, pushing the top prize to $1,100.

The special-event purse pays $800 for second, $700 for third, $500 for fourth, $400 for fifth, $300 for sixth, and $200 for seventh. Positions eighth through 24th will each receive $100.

In addition to the featured SportMod special, Karl Kustoms IMCA Modifieds, Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars, and Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks will also be in action as part of a full night of Speedway Motors IMCA Weekly Racing competition.

Hot laps are scheduled to begin at 6:50 p.m., with racing to follow.

Fans unable to attend can watch every lap live on IMCA TV, where America comes to watch racing.

Boumeester is winner at Kossuth County Wyffel’s Hybrids IMCA SportMod special

By Greg Grabianowski ALGONA, Iowa (June 25) – Jared Boumeester led the final 19 laps to collect the $1,000 checkers in the Wyffel’s Hybrids IMCA SportMod special at Kossuth County Speedway. Twenty-nine Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods contested the Thursday night main event with Boumeester getting the win ahead of Matt Looft and George Nordman. Boumeester had slid past Zach Davis for the lead on the sixth lap of the 25-lap feature and built a comfortable lead before encountering a group of lapped cars on the 15th circuit. Looft closed the gap to make things interesting as the two drivers weaved in and out of traffic. Annual Salute to Veterans race expands, adds Spencer, Boone dates

ALGONA, Iowa – Veterans and drivers in multiple IMCA divisions take their turns in the spotlight as the successful Hunting With Heroes Salute to Veterans Race expands from a one night special to a three-night tour this July. IMCA Modifieds race for at least $3,000 and up to $3,500 to win in three Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying features as the Salute to Veterans tour travels to Clay County Fair Speedway on July 28, Kossuth County Speedway on July 29 and Boone Speedway on July 31. Jennings holds off heavyweights for first IMCA Stock Car feature win

By Greg Grabianowski ALGONA, Iowa (June 3) – It was a memorable night for McCain Jennings as the Algona driver picked up IMCA Sunoco Stock Car career feature win number one on June 3 to highlight an exciting night of dirt track racing at the Kossuth County Speedway. Jennings started on the outside of the third row before working his way to the front and holding off a challenge of three much accomplished drivers in Derek Green, Donovan Smith and Kelly Shryock to win the main event. Kevin Opheim was the early leader in the feature as the yellow flag came out on the second lap. Spring Fling SportMod Nationals Set for June 12 at Hancock County Speedway

IMCA Wild West Speedweek Set to Storm Oregon Border to Border June 13–20
