CARB Night Friday at US 36 Raceway

By Rick Staley OSBORN, Mo. (May 20, 2022) – Racing returns to US 36 Raceway Friday, May 20 with six IMCA divisions seeing action on the high banks. Adding to the excitement it is CARB Night with all Central Auto Racing Booster members getting in free to the grandstands by presenting their CARB membership card at the grandstand gate. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA STARS Mod Lites, Friesen Performance IMCA Northern Sport Mods and Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts all vie for that checkered flag and first-place trophy. Pit passes are $35. In addition to free grandstand admission for CARB members displaying membership cards, spectator admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors 65 and older and active military and veterans, $5 for kids ages 7-12 $5 and kids ages six and under are free. Pit gates open at 5 p.m. The grandstand opens at 6 p.m., the drivers’ meeting is at 7 p.m., hot laps are at 7:15 p.m. with racing to follow.

$1,000 to win IMCA Stock Cars headline May 22 action at Benton County Speedway

VINTON, Iowa (May 17, 2022) – A hefty payday will be on the line for the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars presented by Vermedahl Logistics May 22 at Benton County Speedway. The Sunday event pays $1,000 to win and earns the feature winner qualifying eligibility for the B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational at this year’s IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. In addition to the hefty winner’s share, the Stock Car feature will pay $100 to start. There is no entry fee. The Bullring is back in action May 15

VINTON, Iowa (May 10, 2022) – Increased purse money will be up for grabs Sunday, May 15 at Benton County Speedway. Billed as the Dirt Knights TV Special, five weekly divisions will compete on the quarter-mile Bullring for the second night of weekly points racing. A winner’s share of $750 will be on the line in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds presented by KISS Country 96.5, while winners of the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods presented by Christie Door Company will pocket $500 each. IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks will pay $300 to win and Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts vie for $200 to win. The first two attempts at a season opener were washed out by Mother Nature, leaving the twice-delayed event now scheduled for this Sunday, May 8. Spring Showdown starts new season at Sheridan

SHERIDAN, Wy. (April 27, 2022) – Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds are on the program both nights as Sheridan Speedway opens the new race season with the April 30-May 1 Spring Showdown. Modifieds race for $450 to win on Saturday and for $750 to win on Sunday. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Shaw Race Cars Western Region, KMJ Performance State and track points will be awarded both nights. IMCA Late Models will make for a Super Sunday May 1 at The Bullring

VINTON, Iowa (April 25, 2022) – Opening night is taking on a “super” look at Benton County Speedway. After wet weather forced the delay of Sunday’s season opener, IMCA Sunoco Late Models will join the show Sunday, May 1 for the first Super Sunday event of the season at The Bullring. Davenport opens April 22 with $1,000 to win features for IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Late Models

DAVENPORT, Iowa (April 14, 2022) – Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Late Models both race for $1,000 to win in the regular season opener next Friday, April 22 at Davenport Speedway. The Modified winner becomes eligible to qualify for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational; Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods are also on the card as pit gates open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. with racing to follow. Dacotah Speedway gears up for 2022 season

(April 6, 2022) – Dacotah Speedway is getting ready for its 2022 season. “We have a lot of big things planned for 2022,” said Sales and Promotions Director Jane Link. “We have a lot of big races planned as well as special guests. We are pretty excited to have John Schneider, the actor who played Bo Duke on Dukes of Hazzard, racing with us on Friday, June 10.” Schneider will be headlining many Mandan events June 10-12 as he will be racing amongst local drivers on Friday, June 10 at the Dacotah Speedway. Schneider will be giving rides in the General Lee on Saturday, June 11 during the Big Rig Show and Shine, also at Dacotah Speedway.
