10-year sponsor Mitchell Machine gives IMCA Stock Car, SportMod awards

WEBSTER CITY, Iowa – Mitchell Machine marks a sponsorship milestone with awards for drivers in three divisions. The Webster City, Iowa, transmission manufacturer and machine shop gives product certificates based on regional standings for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and on national standings for Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMods. The 2016 season is Mitchell Machine’s 10th as an IMCA marketing partner. Top three eligible finishers in standings for the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern and Southern Stock Car regions and national standings for both SportMod divisions receive product certificates valued at $250, $100 and $100, respectively. Drivers in all three divisions must compete with a Mitchell-manufactured transmission, return a sign-up form to the IMCA home office by Aug. 1, display two Mitchell Machine decals on their race car and provide proof of purchase made between Jan. 1 and Oct. 1, 2016. IMCA All-Star drivers, national champions receive firesuits from Velocita

CLEMMONS, N.C. – Velocita helps recognize 30 more of the best IMCA drivers this season, during the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational. Every Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified driver starting the 13th annual event, on Friday, Sept. 9 during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s at Boone Speedway, receives a custom firesuit from Velocita and race sponsor Axle Exchange. “We are very excited to be a part of the All Star event! BMS Mods by Xtreme begins fifth season as IMCA Modified North Central Region sponsor

GREAT BEND, Kan. – BMS Mods by Xtreme Motor Sports is back for a fifth consecutive season as title sponsor of the North Central Region for Modifieds, and for the 15th season as an IMCA marketing partner. Xtreme Motor Sports purchased the Belleville, Kan., chassis builder earlier this year. BMS by Xtreme will furnish a portion of a $6,000 point fund to be paid out to top 10 drivers in the region comprised by tracks in Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, Saskatchewan, South Dakota and Wisconsin. The champion earns $2,500, with $1,250 for second, $625 for third, $325 for fourth, $300 for fifth and $200 for sixth through 10th. Schoenfeld Headers is new to national decal program for IMCA Modifieds

VAN BUREN, Ark. – Long-time sponsor Schoenfeld Headers is new to the national decal program for IMCA’s biggest division. Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified drivers will be required to display two Schoenfeld decals on their race cars to be eligible for shares of national and regional point fund money. MALVERN, Iowa – The non-qualifiers race new to the upcoming Deery Brothers Summer Series is already drawing plenty of interest. Malvern Trust & Savings Bank provides $500 toward the purse to be paid for each of those 10-lap races.
