TiLUBE awards new for Deery Series pole starters, Hawkeye Dirt Tour main event winners

MOUNT AYR, Iowa – A company that introduced itself to many IMCA drivers last September has a new sponsorship role with the sanctioning body this season.

TiLUBE, the manufacturer and distributor of high performance lubricants headquartered in Mount Ayr, Iowa, will award cases of racing oil to pole starters at main events in the Deery Brothers Summer Series for Late Models and feature winners in the Hawkeye Dirt Tour for Modifieds.

The company gave product awards to champions and qualifying feature winners at the 2015 IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.

“The majority of our customers are local dirt track drivers. Getting involved with these two series helps us get our footprint out to more than just three or four tracks,” explained Coty Mallicoat, TiLUBE vice president of sales and marketing operations. “The program we did with Super Nationals upped our brand recognition so we’ll definitely do it again this year.”

TiLUBE was founded in 2004 and focused primarily on motocross and ATV markets. The product line has since expanded toward agricultural, commercial, automotive and dirt track customers.

To service the growing IMCA customer base, TiLUBE opened a warehouse in Mallicoat’s hometown of Boone. He does business from a location that’s central to many tracks during the race season and just blocks away during Super Nationals.

“It’s been easy for us to work with IMCA. I already know a lot of IMCA drivers,” said Mallicoat, whose cousin Jason was the 2006 Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod national champion. “We’re working with Karl Performance and have dealers around the country. The newest is in North Carolina.”

“It’s taken some time to get our name out but we try to stay in front of people,” he added. “You have to be good in your own backyard or you’re not good.”

TiLUBE product awards will be presented to drivers before they leave the track following each Deery or Hawkeye Dirt Tour event.

More information about the complete TiLUBE product line is available by calling 641 464-3195 and at the www.tilube.com website.

“We’re anxious to get the racing season underway and begin distributing some TiLUBE product at our Deery and HDT events,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “Coty and his team have been great to work with and I know our racers will appreciate their support as we embark on a great summer of racing.”
