
Porter parks in victory lane at Arlington
ARLINGTON, Minn. (June 8) – Chad Porter put his no. 12 MN 93 IMCA Modified in victory lane at Arlington Raceway for the first time since May 13 of 2017 Saturday night. Porter took the lead on the first lap after a caution that moved him up a row on the restart. When the green flag came back out, he passed three cars going into the first turn to take the lead. He remained the leader for the rest of the race with Trent Loverude directly behind him taking second ahead of Clint Hatlestad. Javen Ostermann won his first Alpha Media IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car feature, leading the entire caution-free race from start to finish. The Coors Light IMCA Sport Compact feature also went flag to flag, with Levi Selly leading over half of the race before Alex Dostal took the outside lane and got by him with two laps left to take the lead and win.
