Spring Kick-Off set this weekend at Kennedale Speedway Park

KENNEDALE, Texas ­– IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars race for $1,000 to win on opening night of the Feb. 25-26 Spring Kick-Off special at Kennedale Speedway Park. Saturday’s main event for the Sprints pays a minimum of $150 to start. Running Saturday and Sunday nights are IMCA Modifieds for $500 to win and $75 to start and both IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center South­ern SportMods for $400 to win and $60 to start. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Modified and Stock Car regional and Allstar Perfor­mance State points will be awarded. Gates open at 3 p.m. and racing starts at 6 p.m. on Satur­day. IMCA Modifieds chase $3,000 payday at Canyon’s Desert Classic

PEORIA, Ariz. – Their top check is $3,000 and IMCA Modified drivers also run for a spot on the 2017 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot at Canyon Speedway Park’s Friday and Saturday, Feb. 24 and 25 Desert Classic. The Modified main event is 40 laps and pays $1,500 for second and a minimum of $125 to start. Friday’s 25-lap qualifier pays $600 to win and a minimum of $75 to start, with the top eight redrawing for starting spots in the big show. Entry fee is $150 for the weekend or $200 for Saturday only. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods will race for regular weekly purses both nights. Four IMCA divisions run at Abilene Ice Breaker special

ABILENE, Texas – The 2017 running of the Abilene Speedway Ice Breaker is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Feb. 17 and 18, with four IMCA divisions on the program each evening. IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds run for $700 to win each night, Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMods for $600, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars for $400 and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $250. IMCA Speedway Moors Weekly Racing national, regional, Allstar Performance State and local track points will be awarded for both draw/redraw programs. Winter Heat Challenge this weekend at Perris

PERRIS, Calif. – Perris Auto Speedway will put a wrap on the Winter Heat Challenge Series this Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 11 and 12. Both shows will feature IMCA Modifieds running for IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Larry Shaw Western Region, Allstar Performance State and track points. Spectator gates open at 2 p.m. each day with racing at 3 p.m. Adult tickets are $15 each day.  Active military with proper ID, students ages 13-18 with their school ID and kids ages 6-12 get in for $5. Children five and under will be admitted free. Through the generosity of the fairgrounds, parking will be free both days. Race teams competing in both shows this weekend will be allowed to camp in the infield overnight on Saturday. Pre-entries number 160 for Arizona IMCA Modified Tour

YUMA, Ariz. – Eight $1,250 to win main events take top billing when the inaugural IMCA Arizona Modified Tour ventures to Cocopah Speedway, Arizona Speedway, Canyon Speedway Park and San Tan Ford Central Arizona Speedway. Eight IMCA Wild West Modified Shootout dates set at five California, Oregon tracks

By Ben Deatherage WHITE CITY, Ore. – Building on last summer’s record-setting series, the IMCA Wild West Modi­fied Shootout returns in 2017 with eight dates at five different tracks in California and Oregon. Each main event for the IMCA Modifieds over the course of the June 23-July 1 tour pays $1,000 to win, a minimum of $100 to start and is a qualifier for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. Winter Heat Challenge Series starts season at Perris 

PERRIS, Calif. – Pit gates open at noon and racing starts at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21 when the Winter Heat Challenge Series starts the 2017 season at Perris Auto Speedway. The grandstand opens and hot laps for the IMCA Modifieds start at 2 p.m. There is no entry fee; pit passes are $50. Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $5 for active military personnel and students ages 13-18 with ID, and for kids ages six through 12. Youngsters five and under get in free. Central Arizona hosts Nov. 18-20 IMCA Desert Thunder Nationals 

CASA GRANDE, Ariz. – Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds race for $1,000 to win on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 18 and 19, and for $3,000 to win on Sunday, Nov. 20 during Central Arizona Speedway’s San Tan Ford Desert Thunder Nationals. All three features are 2017 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying events. A minimum of $100 will be paid to start on Friday and Saturday. Sunday’s runner-up earns $1,500 with $1,000 paid for third. Minimum start money is $150 for Sunday’s 30-lap feature. Non-qualifiers get $50. Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods race for $500 to win both Friday and Saturday and for $1,000 to win Sunday’s 25-lap feature. Entry fee for the weekend is $150 for Modifieds or $100 for Northern SportMods. IMCA legal mufflers are required in both divisions.
