Defending champions among early entries for Kupper Chevrolet Dakota Classic Tour

JAMESTOWN, N.D. – Defending champions Hunter Marriott and Elijah Zevenbergen are among the nearly 100 drivers, from 16 states and Canada, who have already pre-registered for the upcoming Kupper Chevrolet Dakota Classic Tour. Early entries are already in hand from 63 Modified and 35 Stock Car drivers for the 28th annual tour, which travels to five tracks in North Dakota and another in Saskatchewan. Opening night is Saturday, July 8 at Jamestown Speedway. The tour travels to Nodak Speedway in Minot, on July 9, Estevan, Sask., Motor Speedway on July 10, Williston Basin Speedway on July 11, Southwest Speedway in Dickinson on July 12 and Da­cotah Speedway in Mandan on July 13. URSS Rebels join Sprint Series of Nebraska for Battle at Belleville

BELLEVILLE, Kan. – The United Rebel Sprint Series and the Sprint Series of Nebraska will com­bine for a dual-sanctioned show at the Belleville High Banks on Monday, July 3 for the first of four races in the URSS’ Summer Sizzler Week. IMCA Stock Car Shootout set July 3-4 at Southern Iowa 

OSKALOOSA, Iowa – The Class Too Tough To Tame takes top billing at the 22nd annual Budweiser Stock Car Shootout set for Monday and Tuesday, July 3 and 4 at Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars run for $2,500 to win, $1,500 for second and $1,000 for third; a minimum of $300 will be paid to start the Tuesday night main event. The top eight will qualify on opening night. Entry fee is $100 or $175 on Tuesday. Tow is $200 for drivers who race both days. Heats and last-chance races are on the Tuesday card. $1,000 IMCA Empire State Series feature during Fireworks Night at Outlaw Speedway

DUNDEE, N.Y. (June 27) – IMCA Modifieds race for $1,000 to win when the Empire State Series travels to Dundee this Friday to join the Fireworks Night event at Outlaw Speedway. The Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier pays a minimum of $100 to start and IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Dirt Works Eastern Region, Allstar Performance State and track points will be awarded at the June 30 show. There is no entry fee and the feature will be 30 laps. Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. Grandstand admission is $17 for adults, $15 for seniors and free for kids 12 and under. Sprint Series of Oklahoma dates set at Ardmore, Ada this weekend 

By David Smith Jr. OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – After nearly a one-month hiatus, it’s back to racing for the Sprint Se­ries of Oklahoma presented by Smiley’s Racing Products as a doubleheader looms this weekend for the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car series. It all kicks off tonight (Friday) at Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore where three events have been scheduled with Mother Nature winning twice and Wichita Falls, Texas, driver Chad Koch picking up his first feature victory of the season back at the season opener on March 25. SPENCER, Iowa – One thousand dollars is the top prize for both IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks at Clay County Fair Speedway’s June 26 Monday Night Madness special. The Modified feature is a qualifier for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods complete the card, running for $500 to win. All IMCA points, including track, will be awarded and there is no entry fee in any division. The Hobby Stock feature is the first of four Summer Speedweek events at area tracks. FRANCIS CREEK, Wis. – IMCA Modified drivers chase winner’s checks totaling $20,000 over the course of the upcoming Cheesehead Triple Crown. 141 Speedway’s June 21 and 22 Clash at the Creek boasts a $10,000 top check. Both the June 23 Battle at the Zone at Oshkosh SpeedZone Raceway and Shawano Speedway’s June 24 Fury at the Fairgrounds are $5,000 to win events.
