IMCA Arizona Modified Tour at 170 early entries

QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. – One hundred and seventy drivers are on the pre-entry list for the Feb. 7-16 IMCA Arizona Modified Tour.  Arizona Speedway at Queen Creek hosts Friday and Saturday, Feb. 8 and 9 events. The tour is at Casa Grande’s Central Arizona Speedway for Sunday and Monday, Feb. 10 and 11 shows and at Canyon Speedway Park in Peoria on Wednesday, Feb. 13. USA Raceway in Tucson is the site of Friday and Saturday, Feb. 15 and 16 programs.   IMCA Modifieds race for $1,500 to win while Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods chase $600 top checks each night. All seven Modified features are 2019 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying events and pay a minimum of $150 to start. Northern SportMod features pay a mini­mum of $60 to start. 281 Speedway starts new season with IMCA Big Chill Throwdown special

STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Four IMCA divisions are on the card for both nights of 281 Speedway’s season-open­ing Big Chill Throwdown.  IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Smi­ley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods and Mach-1 Sport Compacts will be featured in Friday and Saturday, Feb. 8 and 9 shows.  Modifieds race for $600 to win, Stock Cars and  Southern SportMods both for $500 and Sport Compacts for $200 each night. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, re­gional, Texas State and track points will be awarded both nights. There is no entry fee.  Pits open at noon on Friday with check-in running from 5 p.m. until the 7:15 p.m. drivers’ meeting. Four IMCA divisions featured at Canyon’s Winter Challenge Series

PEORIA, Ariz. – Four IMCA sanctioned divisions are on race programs each night of the Winter Challenge Series at Canyon Speedway Park.  IMCA Modifieds run for $1,000 to win, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods for $750 to win, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars for $500 to win and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $250 to win at Saturday and Sunday, Jan 26 and 27 and Feb. 2 and 3 shows. Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot berths are also at stake each night for the Modifieds. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, state and special series, but no track points, will be given all four nights. IMCA Wild West Tour back with 10 dates for Modifieds, Stock Cars, Northern SportMods

MYTON, Utah – When they started kicking around the idea of starting the IMCA Wild West Tour back up on social media last month, it took just three days for more than 60 drivers to sign up.  Nearly 100 are on board now, with 10 events scheduled for IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods. What will be the ninth annual tour travels to six differ­ent tracks in five states. “There’s a lot of enthusiasm on the part of the drivers,” noted Ken Hansen, who returns as tour director. “They’re the ones who made this tour good before and they’re the ones who will have the opportunity to do it again.”  Opening weekend is Friday and Saturday, May 3 and 4 at New Mexico’s Aztec Speedway. 2nd annual IMCA Lone Star Stock Car Tour has six race dates, $5,000 champion’s check

ABILENE, Texas – The championship of the second annual Lone Star IMCA Sunoco Stock Car Tour will be worth $5,000.  Six February race dates have been announced for the Sniper Speed-sponsored tour. Top 10 driv­ers in final point standings earn shares of a $13,600 point fund with all drivers finishing 11th on back who have perfect tour attendance eligible for one of four drawings for $250.  Each feature pays $750 to win with IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, EQ Cylin­der Heads Southern Region and Texas State points at stake. The tour champion also becomes eligible to qualify for the Sunoco Race Fuels Race of Champi­ons during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s in September. Abilene starts 2019 season with Feb. 15, 16 Ice Breaker

ABILENE, Texas – Abilene Speedway hosts its traditional season-opening Ice Breaker on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 15 and 16.  IMCA Modifieds run for $700 to win and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods for $600 to win each night. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars run for $600 to win on Friday and for $750 to win their Lone Star Tour opener on Saturday.  IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Razor Chassis South Central and EQ Cylinder Heads Southern Region, Texas State and track points will be awarded for both draw/redraw programs. Hobby Stocks are not on the program either night.  The pits open at 4 p.m. and racing begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Dates announced for 30th IMCA Dakota Classic Tour

MANDAN, N.D. – They’ll celebrate a milestone each night of the 2019 Kupper Chevrolet IMCA Dakota Classic Tour. IMCA Modifieds race for $2,400 to win along with berths on the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot each night of the 30th annual tour, scheduled July 6-11. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars are also on the card at Saturday through Thursday shows, running for $800 to win. The North Dakota and Saskatchewan-based tour starts at Jamestown Speedway on Saturday, July 6. This will be the 11th time Jamestown has hosted the series. Round two is Sunday, July 7, at Nodak Speedway. The Minot track was one of the three original tour venues and has hosted a date each year of the long-running series. Estevan Motor Speedway in Saskatchewan is next up on Monday, July 8. Canyon hosts IMCA Harvest Hustle over Thanksgiving Weekend

PEORIA, Ariz. – IMCA Modifieds and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods are on Friday and Satur­day, Nov. 23 and 24 Harvest Hustle cards at Canyon Speedway Park. Modifieds race for $750 to win on Friday and for $1,500 to win in their Saturday Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying main event. SportMods chase top checks of $500 on Friday and $1,000 on Saturday. Entry fees for both divisions are $25 each night. Pit passes are $35 for adults, $20 for kids ages 7-11 and free for six and under. All minors must have a signed and notarized release form on file to get into the pit area. Heart O’ Texas Speedway hosts Fall Classic, Dirt Dominator

WACO, Texas – Five thousand dollars is the top IMCA Modified main event prize while $10,000 is at stake in the IMCA.TV-sponsored Dirt Dominator during the Oct. 25-27 Fall Classic at Heart O’ Texas Speedway. The Modified feature is a 2019 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying race and pays a minimum of $300 to start. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods both race for $1,500 to win and $125 to start. Non-qualifiers in all three divisions get $100.
