SportMod Stampede at East Moline pays $2K to win

EAST MOLINE, Ill. – Two thousand dollars is the top prize at the inaugural SportMod Stampede this Sunday at The Bullring at Rock Island County Fairgrounds. The Aug. 30 headliner at East Moline pays a minimum of $100 to start with IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and KMJ Performance Illinois State points at stake. There’s a $50 entry fee for the draw/redraw show. Rounding out the card are IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Late Models and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, running for national, regional, state and track points. Pit gates open at 2:30 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 3:30 p.m. Racing follows 5:30 p.m. hot laps. Spectator admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and $8 for kids ages 9-15. Guaranteed to be the biggest and best: All roads lead to Eagle for 8th annual RaceSaver Nationals

EAGLE, Neb. – What’s guaranteed to be the biggest and the best Sprint Car event of the season plays out Sept. 3-6 at Eagle Raceway. Sprint Series of Nebraska invades U.S. 36

OSBORN, Mo. – The Sprint Series of Nebraska is set to challenge the high banks of U.S. 36 Raceway on Bolin Auto and Truck Parts Night at the Races this Friday, August 21. Along with IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars are in action. At the end of the night, the Stock Cars will compete in the Shocker Chassis Six Pack Shootout. The bracket-style special event will see Mich Ross, J.J. Baumli, Anthony Witham, Jon Boller Jr., Brad Derry, Carson Masoner and Blake Peeler race for the win. The pit gates open at 4 p.m. The grandstands open at 6 p.m. with hot laps at 7:30 p.m. and racing at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 for general admission, $18 for seniors 62 and over and military with ID and children 12 and younger are free. DCRP Sprint Car Nationals, SportMod Mayhem to air live at IMCA.TV

However, not all is lost for those that unable to take in all the excitement in person, as all three nights of action will be aired live via Pay-Per-View at www.imca.tv. IMCA Modifieds race for $1,500 to win and a Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot berth their draw/redraw show. There is no entry fee and Modifieds run for IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Side Biter Chassis North Central Region and KMJ Performance Minnesota State points, but not track points, in their draw/redraw show. Completing the Friday night program are IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods and Mach-1 Sport Compacts with national, regional, state and track points on the line. Race For Trace is Tuesday at Fairmont

FAIRMONT, Minn. – IMCA drivers Race For Trace next Tuesday, Aug. 18 at Fairmont Raceway. The midweek show boasts a $25,000-plus purse but more importantly raises funds to help pay medical costs for car owner and sponsor Trace Iverson. Three dollars from each admission ticket sold will be donated and the 15 drivers Iverson helps sponsor will pass their helmets in the grandstand and pit area. Items to be auctioned include donated door panels while the raffle includes a wheel autographed by Richard Petty. Tuesday’s IMCA Modified feature pays $2,020 to win and is a 2021 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying event, while IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars run for $2,000 to win. United Rebel Sprint Series back in action at Bob Salem Memorial

OBERLIN, Kansas – The Lucas Oil POWRi United Rebel Sprint Series Presented by Mel Hambelton Ford Racing returns to action this Friday, Aug. 14 and Saturday, Aug. 15 for the Bob Salem Memorial at Oberlin, Kan., Speedway Friday’s event will pay $700 to the winner. On Saturday, the feature winner of the Bob Salem Memorial finale will take home a $1,000 payday. Races are slated to begin at 7 p.m. both nights. Admission is $20, kids ages 7-12 $5, and kids 6 and under free. Jake Bubak captured the feature win in 2019 on Friday night’s event while Jason Martin was the Saturday night Bob Salem Memorial finale feature winner. IMCA Modified stars shine at Hancock County Aug. 13, 14 specials

BRITT, Iowa – All roads lead to Hancock County Speedway for a pair of the biggest IMCA Modified events of the season, the Aug. 13 Night of 1,000 Stars and Aug. 14 Night of 10,000 Stars. Modifieds race for $3,000 to win and a minimum of $250 to start on Thursday, and for $4,000 to win and a minimum of $300 to start on Friday. Both features are 2021 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying events and will be 50 laps, with four $250 mystery position awards given at halfway. United Rebel Sprint Series heads to Sherman County Speedway this Sunday

GOODLAND, Kan. – The POWRi United Rebel Sprint Series Presented by Mel Hambelton Ford Racing is coming off a busy weekend with an action-packed month ahead. On Sunday, Aug. 9, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car series competitors head to the 3/8-mile Sherman County Speedway in Goodland, Kan. Hot laps are slated to begin at 4 p.m. with green flag racing set to start at 5 p.m. for the county fair race Looking ahead, the URSS will prepare for a doubleheader weekend on Aug. 14 and 15 at Oberlin Speedway in Oberlin, Kan. In 2019, Jake Bubak and Jason Martin were victorious at the 3/8-mile semi-banked dirt track. The Dodge City Raceway Park Nationals will take place Aug. 20-22 and tentatively rounding out the month the schedule sees the United Rebel Sprint Series at Phillips County Speedway in Holyoke, Kan., on Aug. 28.
