$4,000 possible to win at Hancock County’s IMCA Northern SportMod Nationals

BRITT, Iowa – The winner of Hancock County Speedway’s Thursday, June 26 MaxYield Seed Northern SportMod Nationals earns as much as $4,000 for his or her 30-lap efforts. The main event for Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods pays a minimum of $2,500 to win with $500 bonuses if the first-place driver is a previous event winner; has raced at least three times previously this season at Britt; and has won a regular season feature there this year. Twenty-four cars qualify and four more get sponsor provisionals. A 10-minute pit stop on the front straight is planned at midway and the winner goes home with a six-foot tall trophy. IMCA Late Model veterans in running for $500 bonuses at Marshalltown Deery

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa (June 19) – An even bigger payday is possible for veteran IMCA Late Model drivers following the Deery Brothers Summer Series to Marshalltown Speedway next Tuesday, June 24. The Miller Lite 50 tour event pays $3,000 to win and a minimum of $300 to start. By Jeremy Fox MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa – Jim’s Johns of Des Moines will sweeten the pot in four IMCA divisions this Friday night, June 20 at Marshalltown Speedway. Each of the heat race winners in the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds will receive a free pit pass for the following Friday night races. In addition to this, the Jim’s Johns Challenge will be taking place and here is how it will work: Hobby Stock heat race winners have the option to fall to the tail of the feature and if they can win, it will be worth an additional $250. Qualifying format announced for 141’s $10,000 to win Clash at the Creek

Big Wheel Night is Friday at Luxemburg

LUXEMBURG, Wis. – This Friday, June 20 is the night the kids wait for all year long at Luxemburg Speedway. It’s time for them to take to the track and show the fans and drivers the future of the Speedway. The regular five divisions will be in action with racing starting at 7 p.m. Gnome Games will be sponsoring the show. The first 400 kids will receive a Race into Reading Program coloring book. Gnome Games will have 50 participation medals for the Big Wheel contestants. Jay Matthias, Chris Budzban and Mike Dauphinais will have their cars on display before the races. Karsyn’s Krusaders, Three Wide Media Night June 21 at Independence

A number of promotions will be part of the June 21 event to help raise awareness and money for the fight against cancer. An “ultimate fan package” raffle will be conducted throughout the evening, offering the winner a two night/three day stay, plus Karsyn’s Krusaders merchandise, a free subscription to Dirt Late Model or Dirt Modified magazine, gift cards and much more. Sunday’s top prize for IMCA Modifieds at Redwood Speedway is $1,000

REDWOOD FALLS, Minn. – IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds race for $1,000 to win this Sunday, June 22 at Redwood Speedway. The feature is a qualifying event for the 2014 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. Brighter Homes Store and Klabunde Electric, both of Redwood Falls, sponsor the Modified portion of Sunday’s race program.
