LUXEMBURG, Wis. – With many of the top IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified drivers in the nation in the area for 141 Speedway’s Clash at the Creek on June 25 and 26, Luxemburg Speedway is ready to test its own against the competition on Friday, June 27.

The winner of the Modified main event that evening will take home a cool $2,500 and if not already qualified, be added to the ballot for the 2014 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational.

“We know that we have some of the best talent in the Modified division in the country. We want to show everyone what we have to offer,” said promoter Gene Mathu. “I have already talked to some of the travelers who want to stick around for our show.”

Line-ups will be based on the draw/re-draw format. Modifieds contend for IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Belleville Motorsports North Central Region, Allstar Performance State and local track points.

The Modified entry fee of $80 includes the driver’s pit pass. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods also run complete shows for all applicable points.

Gates open at 3:30 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 4:30 p.m. Racing starts at 7 p.m.
Spectator admission is $13 for adults, $10 for seniors and free for fans ages 16 and under. More information is available from Mathu at 920 621-3428.
