Bartlett Goes Flag-to-Flag for Blackwater Modified Victory

(May 2, 2026) — After nearly two inches of rain threatened Saturday’s program, officials at Blackwater Speedway worked tirelessly to bring both the racing surface and pit area back to top condition—delivering a track that was race-ready for the night’s “Show Up and Showdown” event. Despite the weather challenges, the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified division brought plenty of excitement. When the feature went green, the competition intensified as some of the division’s best went wheel-to-wheel behind the leader. William Bartlett of Panama City led the entire distance to capture the feature win in impressive fashion, earning his first victory of the season in the Close Racing Supply Eastern Region. Jason Barnhill charged to a strong second-place finish, while Chris Smith fought his way back onto the podium in third. Greg Hopkins finished fourth, followed by Zach Howard in fifth.

Pella Powers Through Mayhem to Claim Eagle Hobby Stock Victory

(May 2, 2026) — After a bout of liquid sunshine forced the cancellation of what was to be the season opener at Eagle Raceway last Saturday, this Saturday greeted teams and fans with a beautiful spring day—and the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks made sure the wait was worth it, delivering the wildest race of the night that remained unpredictable to the very end. The initial start attempt saw a five-car pile-up in turns three and four that eliminated several contenders before a lap could even be completed. After another caution on the restart, a lap was finally made official with Dan Markham leading, followed by Neil Pella, Trenton Dowty, and Jason Hansen. Ankrum Fends Off Malasek in Wild Hobby Stock Finish at Park Jefferson

(May 1, 2026) — It was a chilly one Friday, but the racing action was hot at Park Jefferson Speedway, where the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks put on a show in their 16-lap A main. Ninth-starting Zach Ankrum of Sioux City charged to his second win of the year at the track and in the B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region, but not without a fight. Birthday boy Cody Malasek, who turned 15, stormed back from the rear after an early incident and threw a last-lap slide job in a bid for the win, coming up just short. Wyatt Johnson charged from 14th to finish third, while Ben Schneiders and Steven Taylor rounded out the top five. Sioux City’s Tyler Thompson made it back-to-back wins in the Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts. Starting eighth, Thompson grabbed the lead on lap four and never looked back.
