Krug Edges Zeitner in Park Jefferson Late Model Thriller

By Chance Riley JEFFERSON, S.D. (May 15, 2026) — It was another action-packed night of racing at Park Jefferson Speedway, headlined by a thrilling Sunoco IMCA Late Model feature. In the early stages of the blazing-fast 20-lap A-Main, it was a heavily contested three-car battle between Corey Zeitner, Jordan Krug, and Jody Krug. Jordan Krug, who started fourth, eventually worked his way into the lead while Corey and Zach Zeitner battled feverishly for the runner-up spot. On the final lap, Zach Zeitner threw a last-corner slide job at Jordan Krug. The pair drag-raced to the checkers, with the Council Bluffs, Iowa driver hanging on by just .038 seconds for his first win of the season. Reay Prevails in Thrilling Duel With Smith at I-96

(May 15, 2026) — The Karl Kustoms IMCA Modifieds roared to life Friday night at I-96 Speedway, and fans were treated to a thrilling side-by-side battle between defending track champion Jeff Reay and Casey Smith. Reay, from Portland, started third and quickly found himself locked in a fierce duel with Smith as the pair traded momentum lap after lap for more than half the feature. The two drivers raced each other cleanly while distancing themselves from the rest of the field in one of the night’s most entertaining contests. In the end, Reay was able to hold off Smith to score his first Close Racing Supply Eastern Region victory of the season. Smith settled for second while Zach Sweet completed the podium in third. Mark Anderson advanced from the 10th starting spot to finish fourth, and Calvin Stemler rounded out the top five.

Grabouski Charges to $2,000 Eagle Raceway Modified Score

By Greg Soukup EAGLE, Neb. (May 14, 2026) — A beautiful spring Thursday evening greeted fans at Eagle Raceway for the High Banks Heist Weekend. The Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature paid $2,000 to win and saw Ricky Stephan lead the opening circuit, followed by Johnny Saathoff, Cameron Thompson, and Josh Most. Saathoff passed Stephan on lap three to grab the lead. Jordan Grabouski steadily worked his way forward from the eighth starting spot, moving into fourth on lap four before advancing to third on lap six. One lap later, Grabouski passed Stephan for second and then slipped past Saathoff two laps later to take command. Stephan also moved around Saathoff the following lap to claim second. Stone Cashes $3,500 Stock Car Triumph at Tulare’s Kris Mancebo Memorial

By Koen Shaw TULARE, Calif. (May 15, 2026) — The Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars closed out the Kris Mancebo Memorial with a thrilling 25-lap, $3,500-to-win feature at Thunderbowl Raceway on Friday night. Troy Foulger jumped out to the early lead and established a strong pace while 10th-starting Paul Stone and 12th-starting Nicholas Johnson quickly carved their way into the top five by lap five. Johnson momentarily got loose in turn one but managed to save the car and maintain his position. Shortly after, Terry DeCarlo and Fred Ryland were involved in an incident that ended Ryland’s night. A lengthy green-flag run allowed Foulger, Stone, and Johnson to separate themselves from the field before late-race cautions reset the action. Austin Pugh brought out one of the late yellows after pounding the turn three wall, while Jeff Olschowka also fell victim to multiple stoppages. Ferrando Dominates Douglas County Modified Feature

(May 15, 2026) — Grey Ferrando put together a commanding performance in the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature at the Douglas County Dirtrack, collecting his third DeVilbiss Racing Chassis Western Region victory of the season in the 25-lap, $1,000-to-win main event and his first triumph of 2026 at the Roseburg 3/10-mile oval. Brett Muth led the opening lap before a caution quickly slowed the pace. On the restart, Ferrando charged from fourth and was battling for the lead within a couple of circuits. By lap three, the 2017 Cottage Grove Speedway champion had officially taken command. Another caution on lap four reset the field, but Ferrando was flawless on the restart and immediately began pulling away from the competition. Known by fans as “Mr. Excitement,” Stanford found victory lane after a wild feature that saw competitors pushing the racing groove to the extreme high side, with several drivers hanging right-side tires over the levee. The race was red flagged when Dalton Weepie exited the racing surface in turn one and slid over the top of the levee. 35th Annual Harris Clash Returns to Iowa’s Action Track June 23

By Ben Deatherage BOONE, Iowa (May 15, 2026) — One of the most prestigious and longest-running traditions in IMCA racing returns to Iowa’s Action Track on Tuesday, June 23, as the 35th Annual Harris Clash brings another loaded night of competition to Boone Speedway. Created by Bob Harris in 1992, the Harris Clash remains IMCA’s longest-running single-day special event and continues to be one of the marquee summer showcases for Karl Kustoms IMCA Modifieds, Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars, and Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMods. Midwest Madness Tour Returns for 8th Annual Run Through the Heartland from June 28-July 2
