Murty’s mastery of the Bullring continues with $1,800 victory

VINTON, Iowa (May 23) – His nickname is the Game Changer, but the only thing changing lately is Dallon Murty’s win total. Murty scored his fourth consecutive feature win to open the season in the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars presented by Albert Auto at the Benton County Speedway Bullring. He picked up $1,800 for his efforts in the draw/redraw event and earned a qualifying berth for the inaugural B&B Chassis All-Star event at this year’s IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. ROCK SPRINGS, Wy. – Sweetwater Speedway’s Rudy Yeager Memorial brings three IMCA divisions to opening night at Rock Springs Friday and Saturday, May 28 and 29. IMCA Modifieds run for $1,000 to win their Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying features while IMCA Sunoco Stock Car and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod features pay $500 to win both nights. Three Memorial Weekend Cornbelt Clash dates for IMCA STARS Mod Lites

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa – Memorial Weekend Cornbelt Clash dates take IMCA STARS Mod Lites to Marshalltown Speedway, Boone Speedway and Stuart Speedway for $500 to win features each night. A minimum of $100 will be paid to start each May 28, 29 and 30 feature with a $30 entry fee each night. Marshalltown opens the gates at 5:15 p.m. with racing at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. PASS heads back to Selinsgrove

By Frank Buhrman SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Foiled by rain on their last scheduled visit, Pennsylvania Sprint Series competitors return to Selinsgrove Speedway Saturday night to run their second 2021 feature at the big Snyder County oval. PASS IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars will run qualifying events and a 20-lap feature. The first IMCA RaceSaver event of 2021 at Selinsgrove was won by New Yorker Justin Mills on April 10. Mills is expected to return Saturday, along with Garrett Bard and Ken Duke Jr., the last two PASS and IMCA RaceSaver national champions. Duke also is the hometown favorite. Gates will open at 5 p.m. for Saturday’s program, with racing scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Adult general admission is $15 and on Family Night, students 17 and under will be admitted free.
