STUART, Iowa (Aug. 2) – Austin Luellen got the best of brother Clint in winning Sunday’s Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod feature at Stuart Speedway.
Austin took charge early while Clint advanced to second, then looked high and low but unsuccessfully for a way around.
Jeff James overcame contact with the wall, regained the lead from Nick Roberts and won the Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified feature. Todd Cooney took the lead on lap nine in the IMCA Late Model main and won in front of ninth starting John Emerson.
Sixth starting Brian Blessington put the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature away after taking the lead on lap three. Shannon Anderson took the front spot back from Buck Schafroth in winning the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock main.
Top honors in the Mach-1 Sport Compact feature went to Jacob Reiter.
